Frank P. Bevilacqua currently serves as President of Winer & Bevilacqua, Inc., a certified public accounting firm.

Frank provides accounting, tax, finance, estate planning and business advisory services to numerous closely held businesses in a variety of industries including construction, restaurants, manufacturing, health care, retail trade, service industries, and real estate. Frank provides tax services to clients including income tax planning and estate planning. He also provides financial planning services to clients.

Frank graduated from The University of Akron where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Akron Zoo, the Board of Directors of the Portage County Club, The University of Akron Foundation Gift and Estate Planning Committee, and the School of Accountancy Advisory Board of The University of Akron. He has been involved with the American Heart Association. He has also been very active in the St. Hilary parish, serving on various councils.


 


John R. Cassiday, II,

John R. Cassiday, II, is a shareholder in Winer & Bevilacqua, Inc.

John is the manager of the tax department where he is responsible for all tax planning, research, and compliance. He has served as an expert witness in probate court regarding federal and Ohio estate tax. He has also given lectures to many groups on various topics ranging from income to estate tax to planning for college savings. John also provides accounting and business advisory services to closely held businesses in a variety of industries.

John graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Taxation degree.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council, and Employee Benefits Council of Northeast Ohio (past president). He is on the Board of Directors and Finance committee of the Blick Clinic. John is also on the Advisory Board of the Canal Square YMCA in Akron.

Michael F. Hoff is a shareholder in Winer & Bevilacqua, Inc.

Mike analyzes revenue streams, practice overhead with specific types of medical practices, employment policies and procedures, fringe benefit programs, and computer feasibility. He performs feasibility studies for entity formation, schedule control and time studies, and practice mergers. In addition, Mike provides analysis and evaluation of medical practices based on statistical databases, such as those provided through the Medical Group management Association (MGMA). He also consults with small to medium sized businesses, including accounting reports in all areas of compilation and review; income taxes; management issues; and business operations.

Mike has served as an expert witness in arbitration hearings regarding medial practice billing, collections, and compensation issues. He has researched various topics included in health care law, data analysis, and revenue trends in various medical specialties. Mike has performed due diligence analysis work for hospital systems seeking to acquire medical practices and for mental health, rehabilitation, and obstetrics and gynecology acquisitions.

Mike graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Major.

Mike is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He was also past Treasurer of the Greater Akron Kidney Foundation.


 


Ronald R. Winer,

Ronald R. Winer is the founder of Winer & Bevilacqua, Inc.

Ron is a specialist in representing health care professionals in practice management, tax and budget planning, systems analysis, estate analysis and planning.

Ron has developed a Practice Management conference lecture series at residency programs throughout Northeastern Ohio. He is an active lecturer at various state-wide physicians’ conventions, as well as a participant in a city-wide lecture series since 1971. Ron has spoken at the National Surgical Convention for Podiatrists and the National Convention of Emergency Room Physicians. He has also been a guest on Sunday Magazine television program where he spoke regarding the physician as a businessman. For 21 years, Ron has taught a 30-hour course in Practice Management to residents at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Forum Health in Youngstown. Five other area hospitals employ Ron’s expertise as their staff Practice Management Consultant, including Cleveland Clinic. Ron served on the faculty of Akron General Medical Center's Westside Family Practice Center for ten years, where he was the Associate Director for Practice Management. In 1981, Ron was the recipient of the coveted "Golden Apple" award from the residents of the Westside Family Practice Center for Teacher of the Year. He was the first non-physician recipient in the award’s history.

In 1984, Ron published Practice Management for the Physician, a compilation of business data, statistical charts and important guidelines outlining the business aspect of medicine for the physician. This workbook has helped thousands of physicians who are setting up practice, or who are already established in practice, enhance their knowledge and skills running their practice as a business. The book is now in its sixth edition.

Ron graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

He has served on the advisory board of consultants for the American Academy of Family Physicians.
